Domestic Abuse Level 1

Identifying Domestic Abuse

It is the purpose of this session to provide a fundamental understanding of domestic violence. Be able to identify the telltale signs and patterns of emotional, financial, or physical abuse that occur within the context of a domestic environment. Recognising the existence of domestic abuse is the initial step towards finding a solution to this serious issue.

Comprehending the Effect

Investigate the serious effects that abusive relationships within the home have on individuals and families. We will discuss the impact that it has on a person's physical and mental health, as well as their emotional and psychological state, as well as their overall life quality. Educate yourself on the factors that contribute to the high incidence of domestic violence in our community.

Breaking the Silence

The main goals of this module are to promote and foster open communication among victims of domestic abuse. Find out what resources are out there and how you can help people who are in need. We can make the environment safer and more encouraging for everyone if we break the taboo around domestic violence.

Establishing Healthful Connections

Acquire an understanding of the defining characteristics of healthy relationships and the ways in which they differ from abusive circumstances. Within the context of a happy marriage, we will discuss the importance of boundaries, respect for one another, and efficient communication as essential components. Assist yourself and others in developing healthy, abuse-free relationships by providing them with the resources they require.

Taking Action

We'll look at tactics in this last session for combating domestic abuse in our neighbourhoods. Everyone can contribute to the fight against domestic abuse by lending a sympathetic ear, volunteering with neighbourhood organisations, or just being a kind ally. Working together, we can create a society in which domestic violence is not accepted.
